Sr. Enterprise Architect
Work directly with the client to advance the mission of their program office, play an important role in further developing a modernized DoD Acquisition architecture by working with the Business Management Modernization Program, the Services, and other Defense Agencies. Provide expertise for developing an Enterprise Architecture framework that will enable tightly coupled business and IT planning. Work closely with the rest of the client-service delivery team to establish a streamlined procurement process, minimize the variance within the DoD Acquisition IT portfolio, and maximize the systems used at the enterprise level. Support DoD architecture framework production development. Provide guidance on e-business issues, portfolio management decisions, systems lifecycle management activities, and IT management/IT strategy principles. The candidate must be familiar with the Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA) initiatives. The main thrust of the effort will deal with:
  1. Federal Data Reference Model
  2. Data Transport issues and design, use of XML
  3. Data Registry and Repository design issues.

Consulting:
You will be primarily responsible for planning, organizing and leading tasks and projects, and ensuring the quality of client deliverables. You will apply well-developed consulting, assignment management and functional skills in the execution of the work. You will be a role model of the firm's core values and play a significant role in:
  • Maintaining and expanding client relationships through delivery of high quality work
  • Leading, coaching and developing junior staff
  • Managing client assignments, technical/functional content, budgets and staff resources

Functional/Industry Knowledge:
  • 7-10 years of experience in consulting or IT program management
  • Preferably background from Big 5 consulting company, i.e. BearingPoint, Accenture, Ernst and Young
  • Best of Breed related product experience: Popkin, Rational
  • Experience with business process reengineering, service oriented architectures, and architecture development preferred
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture, e-procurement, and DoD Acquisition management
  • Knowledge of C4ISR and DoD EA Framework preferred
  • Federal mandate knowledge (GISRA, GPRA, CIPC, etc.)
  • Knowledge of IT management and IT strategy principles
  • Ability to be a strong team player and effectively organize and lead tasks
  • Possession of excellent consulting and client handling skills
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

Education/Certifications or equivalent required:
BS degree in a related field required; MS or MBA degree preferred

Sr. Wireless Applications Support Engineer
We are seeking a Wireless Device Software Design Engineer for our Jackson Tennessee Call and One.Vision product development center. Our solutions provide government and commercial users quick and easy access to manage all messaging data remotely. We work in a thriving and exciting environment that any wireless engineer would enjoy working in. MUST HAVE SKILLS ARE: Java, C++, and J2ME. Internet Technologies such as JSP, Servlets, and HTML/XML. Wireless Technologies included are WAP, IMAP, XML-RPC. 2+ years of development experience on wireless platforms. 5+ years of overall software development experience is needed. This position includes 100% brand new design and development. We are seeking engineers who have outstanding problem solving skills and the ability to turn those problems into carefully designed code.

Our products support all network technologies, including GSM, CDMA, PDC and W-CDMA.

We are currently searching for an Operations Support Engineer for our Wireless Division located in our Jackson, Tennessee office.
The Operations Engineer must have a proven track record in problem solving and analysis, and have good customer facing abilities.
Technical Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Unix – Solaris
  • Knowledge of WAP/MMS
  • Knowledge of Internet Protocols (SMTP, HTTP)
  • Knowledge of Databases: Oracle, Sybase
  • Knowledge of Unix Communications: TCP/IP
  • Understanding of Telecommunications: SS7
  • Knowledge of: Microsoft, Compaq, SUN computer equipment, Cisco - routers and switches

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities:
  • Provision of on-site consultancy to customers
  • Product Technical Support – receiving and dealing with technical service requests from Customers’ technical staff.
  • Interface with Customer’s technical staff Strive to achieve early closure on all customer service requests.
  • Interface to support organizations that provide support for third party products.
  • Provision of 24x7 support to customers
  • Product installation and configuration
  • Installation/Upgrade, either remotely or on-site, of updated products at Customer site.
  • Attendance at Operational Review Meetings.
  • Responsible for building and maintaining excellent working relationships with Customers.
